First off, I am going to be editing movies using windows movie maker. I can make them using .wmv or .avi, but would rather go with .wmv because it says .avi will be like a gig + while .wmv is 50 mb heh. I found a friend who has a dvd burner and I am going to be giving him my movies to burn onto a dvd. What I am wondering is, do I need to do something special (convert it to some dvd format) to the movie to get it onto a dvd (and play on a regular dvd player hooked to a TV)? My friend hasn't done this before so he has no idea, and I would rather make sure before I made the movies and everything. Also, what resolution should I make the movies at seeing how I want it to work on a regular TV?
