need more information...listing hardware that has nothing to do with your network connection doesnt help.

does device manager recognize the NIC? Are you set to DHCP or static? Do you have link lights on the router and your NIC? post the output of an "ipconfig /all".

Forgot to list my mobo which is a

671T-M by Asus

Someone told me some mobos cant read the card.




Also its a wireless adapter. I lost the install disc ages ago so i downloaded the v4.3 driver. I installed it and put in the card. After restarting, Windows detects it and asks me where are the drivers or w/e and I try to link it to the Driver file/fodler and Windows says it doesn't work.

WMP54G Card made by Linksys
My old computer (the one im posting with) uses v4.0

but when i dload the driver from linksys it gives me v 4.3

and i tried all 4 drivers already =[

Make sure you aren't running Windows XP x64. I haven't found a wireless card yet that works with it. I was told when I picked up a Linksys wmp54gs myself that it worked with x64. Nope, called technical support and they said they don't carry any wireless adapters that work with x64 right now. Which is very disconcerting to me... boo :<
