WMP11 crashes on exit.

I don't know what happened but for some reason WMP11 always crashes now on exit. It works fine and doesn't affect anything when it's open but it's still annoying. Everything worked fine for the past 9 months. I keep sending the error reports to microsoft but they haven't offered any solutions yet. I am using Vista 32. Any idea where to start with this one?

Reinstall WMP11

How would I do that? It's built into windows.

having a problem with WMP11 on a fresh install and it freezes as soon as i click on a video same with vlc just freezes whole cpu, would like to know how to get rid of/uninstall WMP as well

i uninstalled/reinstalled wmp 11 and vlc and everything seemed to work fine.
then the same shit happened after i tried to watch another video.
just freezes up and i have to reboot

Nope. I'm not sure if your issue is related though since plays videos fine, it just crashes on exit.
