I have WMP6.4 on Win2k with the Divx codecs loaded. Some AVI's play well, and others I get no picture. If I open the ones that give me no picture in VirtualDub, it can play them, so they are not damaged. What am I doing wrong?
According to my understanding, what you are trying to play might be compressed using DivX Compression, you will need DivX codec to play those .avi files. get it www.mydivx.com or search in a search engine for the codec. Hope it solves your problem.
