WMP - "The operation cannot be performed because the pins are not connected."

What's that mean?

I made the mistake of installing QuickTime the other night. I hated it and took it off. Now I get this message from WMP whenever I try to play a song.

You sure you don't mean "Not all pins could be rendered"?

try uninstalling and reinstalling WMP, and of course googlesearch your problem as that may bring helpful information

I get that message when I try to play some pr0n.

A google search says it has something to do with the Nimo Codecs Pack.

Hopefully it's not WMP 9... you can't uninstall that, can you? I guess you could install it over the old copy at least. Or reformat.
