WMP alternative for Vista

Windows Media Player that came with Vista on my laptop pulls too much on my computer in the background. And the songs skip at the end. All of them. What are some good media players I can use that run a little more....smoothly?

Zoom Player
BS Player

I've never found WMP bad though...just basically uselessly simple.
 
i had always used WMP before I got Vista. Ive just gotten frustrated with this one...slow...mainly songs skipping at the end.
