Theres an option for not saving the history of anything you watch/listen to in it, but thats about all you'll get my downloading it

If you are already using WMP7 or WMP8, I don't see why not. It adds CD burning to the system as well.

If you are using WMP6.4, don't change anything. :)

I still use WMP6.4. Some things I watch don't even work with the newer versions.

Media Player Classic... rocks. You can even play Realme-duh and Quacktime on it.

I installed and there were no problems for me. Besides, I believe it comes with the new windows media audio/video codec for version 9.

i've always been an adament pro-winamp fan, but wmp9 pulled me to the other side. i like the way it handles playlists, but most importantly i love the fact that you can dock it to the taskbar.

Thats funny, I found the quality much better then Winamp. I don't use anything but WMP9 now.. For MP3's, Divx, CD's.

I agree. I really like WMP9, especially the tackbar docking. But you can only do that with Windows XP.

well i upgraded to wmp9. seems to play divx movies and stuff a little quicker. but i dunno if i want to use it for mp3's yet.
