I can't figure out what is wrong with WMP, when I click on it to open it nothing happens. It shows up under processes in task manager but the actual media player never opens. I can't find anywhere to d/l it either so that I can reinstall it. I have to use either WMP 7 or WinDVD to watch any mpeg, and they are just too big and don't have the option I want (always on top), at least I can't find it anywhere on either.

you know, WMP 7.x actually install the WMP 6.x also.. so if you want to reinstall it, just reinstall the WMP7 it will renew the 6.4 too. Consider downloading the WMP 7.1 though.
or try other players such as SASAMI2Khttp://www.sasami2k.com or Winamp Media Plugin or Jet-Audio

I d/l wmp 7.1 and it won't let me reinstall it. It says; "You have the latest version of Windows Media Player and all it's components. No upgrade is available at this time." It says that if I pick reinstall or upgrade.

Winamp isn't working right for me for some reason, whenever I would enqueue more than 2 songs it would close so I use Quintessential to listen to music. WMP 6.4 is just so small and simple, that is why I liked using it.
