WMI ADAP Error... what is it and what do you do about it?

I constantly get the following error:

WMI ADAP was unable to load the winspool.drv performance library due to an unknown problem within the library: 0x0
---------------------

I have the win2k reference manual but I can't find anything on this problem.

Does anyone know what this means, and how to resolve it?
