WMA vs. MP3

I'm trying to figure out which standard to use in archiving my music files. Some people say that WMA sounds better than MP3. Is it true?

you probaly cant tell the difference in sound quality, but WMA is usually smaller size than mp3, its a great file format, its a more refined version of mp3, but most people wont adopt it because it was developed by microsoft.
