wma/asf audio distorted when played on WMP8 but not on WMP7?

strange thing..
*some asf/wma audio files play back the music with random noises and distortion (very similar everytime..but..not the same.. and it's correted temporarily when i slide forward backward..)..and this happense only when i use WMP8.. they sound perfectly fine on WMP7 (although. winamp doesn't seem to be able to play any of the files..strangely..)

why is this... 🙁
