I am using a rosewill usb wireless adapter ( RNX-N2X ) to connect to a rosewill router ( RNX-EasyN4 ) under Win7 Pro 32bit. I have used the adapter with two different Rosewill drivers, with the newest Ralink driver, and with and without the rosewill utility program.
When I play games ( various games ) the connection is dropped. Sometimes the connection will stay for a few minutes, other times it will drop in one or two minutes. If I leave the game by Alt-Tab, I Can't bring up the list of wireless connections - as if the usb device is not present. Sometimes the rosewill utility program will tell me the wireless device "is not present." When I exit the game, windows rediscovers the hardware and re-establishes the network connection all by itself.
This problem only occurs during games, not during web browsing, emailing, Netflix movie etc. Games use more resources and they use game-controllers. What could be interfering with the device ?
