I finally managed to set up a very simple lan with ics:
internet <-> pc1 <....wlan....>router<---lan--->pc2
There is only one annoying problem: as soon as I enable any kind of encryption for the
wireless connection (wep, wpa) even though the wireless connected pc says that he is
connected to the router, I can neither ping nor access it. I am using a linksys wrt54gs
(alchemy 1.0) and a wmp54gs card (os of pc1= xp sp2). Any ideas what may cause this problem?
It doesn't feel very safe with ssid broadcast being disabled as the only safety measure...
