I have to give it to Newt. Think of him what you will, he's got cajones. To get up in front of people and say he cheated on his wives because he was too patriotic?!? Gotta wonder when the righties will wake up to all the social issues BS?

I would love to hear on of these family values charlatans asked, what's more of a threat to marriage, two gay people getting married or divorce?

Do0d, marriage is a sacred bond between a man and the woman he is currently settling for.

That was one of the most despicable bits of rhetoric I've heard in a long time, so bad it deserved voting against him pretty much just for that statement.

When he's the guy who cheated on and left his wife while she was in the hospital, when he goes to make a phony apology for it needed for him to try to get elected President, he has no business saying his motive wasn't his lack of character and his bad judgement and his selfish behavior, but rather his 'love of country'.

It displays how this guy is worse than most people in prison, much less average citizens, much less politicians, much less presidential candidates.

Anyone who could say their adultery is caused by patriotism can't be trusted, period.
