Which Iraqi caused 9/11?

He didn't say Iraq, and neither did I.. Read his post. Bush should apologize to the Arabs.. Fine, once the ARABS apologize to us for their actions KILLING 3000 Americans, not humiliating them.

Have you EVER heard an any high ranking politician flat out apologize? It's considered a no-no to apologize. Offer sympathy/regrets and that's it. I think it's considered a normal thing to do.

Nor did he say Bush should apologize to Al Queda. Read his post.

So the Arabs were collectively responsible for 9/11?

I found the article interesting because it agrees with you, but mentions a few instances in which politicians have apologized for major events and it has payed off for them.

conjur: And this isn't a repost. Stop trying to kill my threads, jackass. This is the second one in less than 10 minutes that you've complained about without any reason.

And Americans are responsible for the actions of a dozen or so stupid soldiers?

I agree; sorry we had to be there in the first place and do what you, the Arab community, failed to do...sorry that your vested interest in maintaining power at the expense of an oppressed people is coming to an end...sorry the U.N. turned a deaf-ear to the callings of the human condition...sorry France and Germany put their economic interests ahead of the Iraqis' interest. Sorry it took us so long to do what we are doing...sorry.

There's already a thread on Bush going on TV...this is related to that.

The front page is filled with well over a dozen threads on this issue.

The US military and GW Bush are collectivly responsible for the torturing of Iraqis? Seems to me a handful of renegade soldiers to the US military is the equivalent of Al Qaeda to the Arab world.

I never said that. However the chain of command is.

Last time I checked Al Qaeda is not a military organization with command responsibility nor has it ever claimed to be a champion of human rights.

well let's see...Bush called for the war which put those guys over there, and let to the torture...as the commander in chief he is responsible for the actions of the troops.....and it's his call how the military prisons should be run.

whereas your average Arab has absolutely NOTHING to do with any terrorist organization at all, much less have any hand in 9/11. Your average Arab has NO responsibility and NO control over the actions of Al-Qaeda.
It's not like there's a massive secret meeting of all Arabs in the world where they collectively decide what they'll do in the next year.

Man...blaming all Arabs for 9/11 is like blaming all white people for the actions of the unabomber.

So because Al Qaeda is not an official military of some Arab Country(They seem to have a lot of guns and weapons), and they don't have a full chain of command (I would argue that), and they ignore human rights.. Then its OK?

So, if some U.S. citizens decided to take a plane to Iraq were to murder 25 innocent Arabs, then it would be OK? I suppose as long as they had a history of not following laws, and have an established history of human rights violations..

America started this war in Iraq. We fired the first shots. We captured these people, and put those soldiers into a situation that forments abuse. There is no American Uber gene which protects us from being just like any one else. Knowing this, the conditions for abuse were set up. We failed to act differently than Saddam in this matter.

"Arabia" did not send bombers to New York any more than you sent someone to blow up buildings in Oklahoma. Someone, or a group of someones took it upon themselves to perform both these terrible acts.

To put it another way the residents of Fallujah are not responsible for the actions a dozen (or however many) that killed the 4 americans there. They took a pounding for it though, and I understand the reasons, although I don't like them. Likewise, America is going to take a "pounding" for this.

Bush's problem is not that he didn't apologize, but he has no questions, regrets or any other serious concerns about his own actions. He has no doubt. That is his problem, and by extention ours.

Who said it was okay? But to expect accountability from these people is insane. That is why we are hunting them down.

The military is completely different. They and thier leadership which extends all th way up to the president are supposed to be accountable.

So the United States Military is expected to have accountability.. but the Arab world is not? Do we need Al Qaeda to file some sort of 401k paperwork or something before the Arab world begins condeming them? Do we need to have Al Qaeda paychecks signed by Osama? What exactly makes us accountable and them not? A retirement plan?

Al Qaeda are criminals and terrorists, that is the whole point they are a supra national entitty that is accountable to no one. That is why we don't negotiate with them we kill them when we can find them.

Again, Americans are responsible for the actions of a dozen stupid soldiers? We are going in circles here.. which kind of tells me the logic of asking the President for the actions of these idiotic soldiers does not make sense either.

We know who should be accountable for our actions.

Who in the Arab world do you want to apologize for 9/11?
