I recently did the unthinkable. I got rid of all my warez and pirated junk, removed bearshare, limewire, and my bittorrent links. I went out and bought all the apps I
wanted to keep. Even my xbox has been cleaned from illegal stuff. It's so hard
to not download something. Im freaking out, I even got rid of my packets sniffers, pc range scanners, and other utility's. I don't think I can make it as a legal white hat.
This legal stuff is rough. Anyway;s I fell I made a huge step to doing the right thing by
cleaning all of my illegal files off my xbox and computer.

Anyone have any relative advice as to what to do, when I get craving's to download something via steal?

You can be a white-hat hacker.All the good tools are linux based anyway.

ettercap,etterape,john,the thc utiliies,ethereal....
 
why would you do such a thing? I don't use photoshop enough to justify spending $500 on it. The only software I religiously keep legit is the Windows OS (which i usually get for free through conferences!)
