Here's a thought:
Maybe Apple is keeping their name alive by intentionally releasing crappy yet easily parodied commercials, thriving on the resulting (popular!) mockery.
Think about it, think about how much the Switch commercials suck nads, and consider how ridiculously easy it is to make fun of them. No marketting team could possibly think it's an excellent ad campaign for face value. I contend that they're far more intelligent, and devious, than that.
Yes, I have decided as of now that Apple is making these sh*tty commercials on purpose.
