would it be fruitless for someone who lost their money playing online poker to dispute any withdrawals from the bank for such purposes?

are there any consequences?

the companies should sue the govt for lost income

seeing as there clearly isnt a problem with casino gambling, or state run lotteries, i see no real grounds for their decision

then, anyone that voted for the bill should be deported

Ummm maybe because online gambling is illegal in the United States, and this new law allows for the enforcement of previous laws.

Gambling is a highly regulated buisness. Online gambling has zero regulation, and most companies partake in many illegal activities.

lol ok so yeah maybe there are some bad companies...but you'll have that anywhere. Party is a PUBLICLY traded company. A lot of these sites make a lot of money and would not ****** around with the stuff u are talking about.

on to the OPs question...No...not at all.

If the site is privately owned...its offshore..they could just take your money and run...whats your backing on sueing them.

No, just like if I killed you before it was illegal they can't put me in jail. It has to be illegal before you do it. Thank God.
