With Rutgers about to lose...

Michigan would get in over WVU based on strength of schedule and I don't anticipate Michigan dropping far in the human polls.

I think it'd be hard, though possible, for a one-loss West Virginia team to jump over a one loss Michigan team. Michigan's regular season is done, and they played a close game against Ohio State, so it could be possible Michigan stays at #2 in the mind of some voters. I wouldn't know for sure though, as I have no idea how the computer rankings work for the BCS. We'll just have to let the rest of the season play out.

no. arkansas or florida would get in over WVU

Arkansas and Florida still have one regular season game remaining, so there is still a chance for one of them to screw up even before the SEC championship game. Arkansas has the tougher game against LSU; Florida tackles Florida St.

USC is struggling with Cal. USC still has ND left.

All of this combined shows us that we still have two weeks before everything is settled and seperated.

Absolutely not, Big East is a very weak conference. Does anyone believe that WVU, Louisiville, and Rutgers would have near the records they have if Miami, VT, and BC were still in the conference?

The ACC is weak as well.

Yet they have 3 teams in the top ten BCS rankings... Only other conference with that is the Big10 because Wisconsin didn't have to play OSU.

Yeah he's smoking some crack. I'm hoping for WVU to get in the Rose Bowl vs Michigan at this point, but there's no guarantee that USC will finish off Cal tonight and then ND next weekend.

All things considered, things that need to happen for WVU to get in the title game would be USC to lose tonight, USC beats ND, LSU beats Ark, Ark beats FL, and human voters would vote against a rematch of OSU/Mich.

If they run the table, blowout Rutgers and the major 1 loss teams lose?

Uh...if everyone else has two losses?

Maybe...but Florida only has a AA team left on their schedule so good luck with that

WVU would have beat Miami and VT this season if they werre still in the Big East.
