With RAM prices rising...

should I still get crucial? Since the prices are pretty close, how would it compare to mushkin, corsair, etc? I definately don't want any generic stuff. I have no plans to overclock but you never know.

BTW I am looking for 512MB of DDR. I have a stick of 256 "on order" from Best Buy but I doubt it'll get here any time soon.

Pick up a pair of Crucial DIMMS. Corsair uses Micron chips as well.

well supposedly there is a Crucial deal for 15% off for AT Forum members, do a search for it, i posted in the thread .. But also, its the holidays, so maybe there are other factors, but i believe a main contributoris the holiday markup .. they arent that bad though .. good luck whatever you decide ..

-far as the quality many, many, people have crucial and are very happy with it, even hardcore oc'ers .. i guess if you are really go to stress the memory as far as overclocking, then maybe look at mushkin, if your only going to oc the mem a little, or none at all, crucial will probably be the better solution .. jus my thoughts ..
