With HDT technology could quad-interleaved DDR be inexpensive?

The secret of nForce is its use of HDT to simplify design. The use of this technology was supposed to make the twin-interleaved DDR a reality for less cost than a straight-forward interleaved design. Perhaps quad-interleaved DDR memory could also use this bus?

Edit: Awwww, wait, 4xInterleaved DDR might be too fast.
