Witcher problem, can't zoom at all

So I'm currently playing through the Witcher and noticed last night that I can't zoom at all. It doesn't really bother me that much but I installed a couple hi res texture mods and I was trying to get a closer look at stuff to see if it was a big difference.

Anyway looking around online I found a couple people with the same problem from 2-3 years ago but never saw any resolutions, does anyone remember having this problem and fixing it? I tried uninstalling all the mods I had and still no good, it still won't zoom at all.

Change your view. The stock game has very little zooming (get Flash's mod!), but at least one of the views, I can't remember which one, does not zoom.

Yeah as far as I remember the OTS view doesn't have zoom but the other 2 should, I can't zoom in any of them though. If there's a mod for it though I'll just do that.

IMO, I think using the Over-the-shoulder view is way better than using the top-down mouse only view. So much more immersive that way. I can respect people who prefer it the other way around though.

I hate iso views. If Flash's mod won't do it (again, each feature of the massive mod is optional), there definitely is a camera zoom mod to allow zooming in all the way to first person, but I can't find a download for it. CDPR revamped the forums for TW2's release, and many esoteric mods are hard to come by, now, having been hosted as forum attachments or at file sharing/locker sites.

Yeah I was running around some in OTS view since it's the most zoomed in and I agree it does make the game feel a lot more immersive.
