Ludicrous speed on Google Fiber...

The main game and DLC both have updates to version 1.12.

That's pretty impressive. I'm "only" on 250Mb/s because Gigabit isn't really worth it over Wi-Fi (can't run cables in my apartment) but I always get ~30MB/s from GOG as well as Steam (with some inexplicable brief drops to just 5-10MB/s occasionally).

I just use the GOG client these days. Yeah, it's annoying to have so many clients (Uplay, Origin, Steam, GOG etc.), but it keeps my games up to date.

What does it mean for the DLC to be updated? Are you meant to install the 1.12 DLC package over the old one? Before or after applying the patch?

I also see that the main game files have been updated. If one was to reinstall the game, is there any reason to re-download them all?

Yeah, it's weird. The DLC's version number is updated, so I assume install the patch and then the DLC again following the main game's patch.

Steam is normally good for 50-60 MB/s. Blizzard has some bandwidth too. I get a consistent 70-80 MB/s from them. Origin is a dog though, especially for older games. Pretty sure they're throttling their connections.

Damn.. I'm paying ~$85/month USD for 15MB/sec downloads from Comcast and I thought that was good.

100MB/sec... that saturates gigabit, doesn't it?
