Witcher 2 - do pig's have tight arses?

Isn't this the game that people were heralding as having amazing graphics? HL2 has better animations than that.

Watch one video.

Never play the game.

Pass judgement on graphics.

Dude this video looks like it was recoded on low settings maybe medium. Ultra looks way better than that.

You should probably play the game for yourself rather than making judgements from shitty youtube videos.

I recorded the video using Afterburner. While it yields better results than FRAPs, it still wreaks havoc on image quality. To get speech to "match up" with image, I had to use 30fps, compression, 80% quality within Afterburner, and medium graphic settings within the game (no AA or other juicy settings enabled). Graphics and gameplay are quite nice with my 580 SLI rig otherwise, high or ultra settings enabled.

Ubersampling with all other settings on high yields a great still, but kills framerate. My gripe on Witcher 2 graphics is that Ubersampling is useless even with high end, and you can't override in-game AA and sampling using nV CP.

In short, the video should not be used to judge the game's graphics..

I'm commenting on the animations. Unless that scales with graphic settings as well it looks like crap.
