Version 2.1 Corrections/Amendments
A new system has been implemented improving communications between game installations and both the registration server and ‘Arena’ mode leaderboards.

A number of corrections have been introduced to the Witcher 2 Configuration Tool.

Does the launcher still crash if you're disconnected form the internet? (must launch from .exe) This bug started with 2.0.

No idea, didn't play it much between 1.2 and 2.0, and I'm rarely without Internet access.

Heh, the game came out in May 2011, its ~7 months old. Are we so used to EA/Ubi/Activision's '1 Patch and Fvckit' attitude as the new normal? 😛

Y U buy on Steam? Buying it on GoG meant you got it fully DRM free, and provided all the profits directly to the developers. 😛

Yes, single player games tend to not be patched as much. This game seems to be getting the treatment of a popular multiplayer game.
