^ that. Or return it, don't most stores have extended return window for holiday season?
It's been a while since I got the mini. Just reflecting I guess. I recently got a iphone 4s. ios7 is garbage
Checking Swappa, the wifi Mini (I assume non-retina) and the 4S (depends on carrier) will net you enough to get a Note 2 with cash to spare. The Note 2 is still a pretty awesome device. It's been a while since I got the mini. Just reflecting I guess. I recently got a iphone 4s. ios7 is garbage
I used to own both a phone and a tablet, i felt like i wasted my money, even with both being on different platforms, because i never used the tablet so i gave it to a less fortunate family member. Now i just go with either the biggest phone i can use one handed or the biggest phone i can fit within my pockets period when its time to upgrade and call it a day. 95% of their functions are the same between the two. If i want something bigger than my phone I'm just going to go straight to a laptop now since there is very little difference to me in convenience once i get into portable electronics that can't fit into my pockets.
Phablets seem like the perfect solution. Right about going to a laptop for something bigger. phones are too small and tablets are too big. There's one app that makes the mini kind of worth it. The artstudio app, but a phablet will do that too. Will apple make a phablet?
I trade stocks pretty actively, and find the eTrade app on my Note 3 is pretty difficult to navigate accurately, don't want a full size tablet, so I use an iPad Mini.
A couple of weeks ago, I made $200K worth of stock trades wrong, it worked out ok, but it made me realize how limited the screen size/app was on Android![]()
It's just as fast as 6.1.3 was on my 4S. Turn off the new animations and it should be fine. I call it parity on my 4S anyways. It is a bit slow on the 4s. Much better on 5/5s. It is uglier though regardless.

There is a big difference between a 4 and a 4S in both processing power and memory which could explain the disparity. My son has an "old" 5 and he sees little difference in our phones aside from gaming under iOS 7.
