i've almost got this song down now...i'm finally learning to play and sing 😀

i've tried for years unsucessfully, and a few weeks ago i just "got it"

i don't know how to explain it, really...something just clicked, and i started being able to use the music as cues for the vocals in my head...i dunno, it's weird

any other guitar players here have trouble singing at the same time and then just got it?

how did it happen for you?
 
Great song, my suggestion to you on the singing would just be practice. Once you know the guitar well enough you can play the song almost without thinking of it, giving you time to think about and sing the lyrics.
 
One of the first songs I learned on guitar. I haven't played for several years and just put on the new strings I got for V-day, gonna go lookup the tab for this and relearn it. Thanks for the reminder! :thumbsup:
