And it's actually in my field, sort of.. Network Engineer for a webhosting firm. It would be a graveyard shift (yuck!) and the pay isn't quite what I would want, but hell, it's livable, I'd be employed, and doing something to actually further my career...

Good luck.. I have an interview in two weeks on September 11th, with the company that I interened with for a year.

It went very well; one of the system engineers went so far as to say to me "I think you'd make a very good fit with us here".. but I have to wait until next week to find out if I got it. The wait is frustrating!

And, think of how much you can get done in the daytime before you crash as you won't be stuck at work at day! :)

But, then again, you'll be missing out on nightlife and staying up late and...

congrats on the interview. if you don't mind me asking, do you have any certs/degrees/experience? also, you mentioned the pay is livable, mind giving me an idea of what liveable is? Only asking these questions cuz being a network egineer is of interest to me.
