I picked up an application for a bank in my area -- filled it out there with the intent to drop it off. The assistant vice president asked if she could go over it before I left..I ended up with an interview on the spot. I just faxed my resume a minute ago..they need to make a decision this week. So..hopefully I have a good chance at a job. 🙂
 
IMO, there is a good chance that they will hire you considering they interviewed you on the spot. CONGRATS!

I was hoping for full-time customer service rep, but she implied that the position was already spoken for (in-house promotion).

So..part-time teller is what's left. I really need a job, though - my current one ends Jan 31st. This bank is opening a new branch (March) so they really don't know how many people they'll need (only have two fulltime and two parttimers allotted)..I'm hoping they'll decide they need another fulltime employee. 🙂

I was surprised, though..health/dental and vacation time as a part-time employee!
