wish list

here's my camera equipment wish list. i am happy with my XTi for the moment so i wont be changing that but i wish for....

sigma 10-20mm digital wide angle
Tamron 28-75 F2.8
Canon 70-300mm F4-5.6 IS (very good quality optics, though not the best built)

battery grip

a decent flash

i figure all that would set me back ooohh close to £1000 maybe ( £250 for the sigma, £200 for the tamron, £300+ for the canon, £100 for the battery grip, and i have no idea about how much flashes cost but already thats 850+ )


what are your wish lists?

I have the telephoto and have loved it since day one! I could not imagine using my camera without the battery grip....I think it better balances out the camera for the telephoto and of course you have the vertical shutter!

My Wish list:

Canon EF-S 10-20mm
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4
Canon 430ex

I would ditch the sigma 10-20 and save for the canon 10-22 or get the Tokina 12-24 which is much better reviewed than the sigma 10-20.

The only thing on my wish list right now is a Sigma 70mm macro lens. Supposedly very sharp and excellent for portraits as well.

If I had crazy mad money I'd add a 70-200 f/2.8 IS and a 300mm f/2.8.

sigma 17-70 ~ heard GREAT things about these lenses! I don't sit there and shoot brick walls all day long, and the lens is just pretty for what it can do~ it would be the perfect walk around lens
FA 85 f/1.4 yeaaaaaaaaah - that would rule for portraiture ~ my 50mm is just a taddd wide at ~75mm cropped....although I wouldn't mind a 60mm lens but i haven't seen those around


and for the "ideal" wish list....a 10-250 1.4 that is as sharp as a prime at any aperature

I have that lens. You'll love it, it's fast and very sharp. :thumbsup:

I have the Canon 580EX flash. Gave the 430EX to my Mom.
