Even when i throttle them to 5k/s they end up around 12 all the time 😛

is there a good alternative out there (tho i really like the funky frog icon in my quick launch and taskbar 😀 )

does your provider cap your speed after you download too much? mine does 🙁

yeah i'm on a 5gb on/5goff 512/128 plan with westnet 😀 We get free local (WAIX) access and our account is on 'shaping' so when i go over 5gb they drop me to 72k/s and when i use 120% of it, it drops to 33k/s 😛 But i've never hit that as most of my traffic is WAIX 😉

I use Bitcomet myself.

I tried Azureus a while back but it tends to utilise too much CPU, and my download speeds drop because of that whenever I run a CPU heavy app.

i usually d/l over a gb a day, but it's all on WAIX and usually don't come near the 5gb limit for everything else 😀

Its a pretty good account for WA 😉 the top speed grade with my isp is 1.5mb for private accounts 🙁 We pay $50 a month for that...
