wise move to purchase a demo or loaner vehicle?

Would it be considered a wise move to purchase a demo or a loaner vehicle from the dealer with 5k miles on it for a sizeable discount?

In case you aren't aware:

demo = A car designated for test drives at the dealership.

loaner = A car the dealership will let you borrow when your car needs to be in the shop for a prolonged period of time.

they've possibly been beat, but maybe not....just like every other car on the lot

Well, demo's aren't usually the best deal but they are usually hard-loaded cars you can get for a reasonable discount and the warranty starts when you buy it so they are not always the worst deal you might get.
