Even conservative polling outfits have started reporting that significant majorities of Wisconsin citizens voters disapprove of Walker.

Pretty much every politician who has ever lived had significant disapproval rates.

And there probably is a push to recall the hiding Democrats too. Nothing unusual. There are activists everywhere on all ends of the political spectrum that will try anything and everything to force their views.

I served 12 years in Navy, what have you done?

Hell I bet my daughter has done more in service of this country than you have. She's served 5 years in the Army and is currently in Afghanistan.

Your move.

Well, it's too bad you can't be bothered to check facts before you post.
-snip-

Are you trying to elevate the insult 'retard' to a new level?

How am I suppose to check "what I heard'? I heard what I heard. I made no cliam about he was able to do what he said.

Do I need I need to find a YouTube link for you? (Look for it yourself, you insufferable @ss).

Nowhere did I comment about the law etc. I only commented about what he said. If you want to take up an argument with my post, demonstrate that I was wrong. I.e., he said something different.

Fact of the matter is, whether he can or can't by law is only part of it. If he orders them arrested and they are, it'll only be much later through court proceedings we'll learn he shouldn't have. Far too late for those handcuffed and brought in to vote.

Thinking makes your head hurt, doesn't it?

I know what I've done in my life and it's apparent that you're more than likely still living in your Mom's basement. Have a nice life Mama's boy.

I knew you couldn't prove it; all you can do now is throw feeble insults since you were called out on your phony baloney e-boasting.

Get some REAL info directly from WI. There are not nearly enough people who are against him to recall him.

"In an automated survey of 800 Wisconsin voters taken Wednesday by Rasmussen, 43% approved of the job Walker is doing and 57% disapproved."

Now where is this OVERWHELMING majority you speak of who disapprove? From what I see, more disapprove than approve but it's far from overwhelming and from from what you need to recall someone.

Are you trying to elevate the insult 'retard' to a new level?

No, I don't recall using that insult, in part because more retarded people wouldn't make the mistakes you do.

How am I suppose to check "what I heard'? I heard what I heard. I made no cliam about he was able to do what he said.

If you had just posted 'you heard this', I could understand the mistake. You don't expect the Republicans to do something so ridiculously clear against the constitution.

But you did not just say you heard this. You challenged someone who had posted, after it was discussed what the Republicans were doing, and someone else posted that they thought there were legal obstacles with doing it, based on nothing more than basically repeating the first statement what the Republicans said, without any checking into the question the person raised about the legal issues.

It would be like someone saying 'the healthcare bill requires mandatory insurance purchase', and someone saying there are constitutional questions about the government doing that, and you responding 'no, you heard Nancy Pelosi say the bill has that'. Not adding anything to the discussion about the legal challenged - just pretending to address them. And then when someone says 'too bad you can't bother to check the issue a little before you post', you respond with the sort of attacks you did.

You are just reinforcing the point with your response. You can't be bothered to check.

Nowhere did I comment about the law etc. I only commented about what he said.

You *responded* to the point there were legal issues with what he said not with any informed response - but by implying that was wrong just because he said it.

And now you pretend you did not imply he was wrong for no reason, by acting like a bratty child.

Finally to make yourself even more ridiculous, you post an argument I already made about how even if unconstitutional there's a chance it could affect the vote before any unconstitutionality has any impact, as if it's your point and you are actually saying anything about the legal issues you couldn't be bothered to check before you attacked a post about them - and you are childishly insulting yet again.

Too bad the ignore function doesn't work for you as I tried it before, and manually doesn't always miss your 'posts'.

I'd be surprised if even half the people understand what collective bargaining is.

People think the government is taking away peoples "rights" when its really doing nothing of the sort. Everyone is always for "rights", hard to find people who disaprove of "rights", only bad evil people disaprove of "rights".
"Bargaining" too, sounds so innocent right? What wrong with that? Such a friendly word. "Bargaining". Whats wrong with people getting together and "bargaining" right? Surely they should be able to. :\

This bill doesn't even totally get rid of collective bargaining anyway, the workers can still bargain with the state collectively to increase wages up to the CPI change and even beyond that if they get voters approval.

Says who?

It appears that 25% of the people who voted in his election are needed for the recall vote to take place, and then a simple majority on that vote, though I haven't confirmed that.

That's about 540,000 signatures - not small, but when there are over 100,000 people at one protest in the capitol, not too hard to see how the could get it, either.

More importantly, they can NOW do it for 8 Senators on his side.

"In an automated survey of 800 Wisconsin voters taken Wednesday by Rasmussen, 43% approved of the job Walker is doing and 57% disapproved."

You're projecting.

People think the government is taking away peoples "rights" when its really doing nothing of the sort.

See?

This bill doesn't even totally get rid of collective bargaining anyway, the workers can still bargain with the state collectively to increase wages up to the CPI change and even beyond that if they get voters approval.

"Getting rid of rights" doesn't mean "totally getting rid of rights".

If the government passed a law you can't criticize any Democrat, it's taking away your right to free speech even if you can still criticize other parties.
