Requiring an id suppressors voters as much as requiring a SS number suppresses employment.

Does requiring an id suppress gun ownership? Nope.

Does requiring a SS number suppress employment? Nope.

Does requiring a background check for a gun purchases suppress gun ownership? Nope.

1968 federal firearms act - what do you mean I can no longer buy a gun through the mail? What about my rights?

Brady act - what do you mean I have a waiting period? What about my rights?

Affordable care act - what do you mean I have to buy a product? What about my rights?

Get over it already. The government can restrict your rights.

So you are against voter ids, are you opposed to a SS number to work?

SS numbers are generated at birth. How about when someone has a public utility activated under their name state automatically sends a voter ID card. When the utility is turned off (by owner) card is deactivated.

To level the playing field don't allow drivers licenses.

Extend voting to weekend before Tues so people who can't get off work can vote. Also to prevent 7 hour waiting lines.

Also I want any organization that mails out literature with false information(false voting dates, false polling locations, etc) to face heavy fines and mandatory jail.

That includes the parent organizations. Cough...cough...AFP...cough.

SS numbers are generated when applied for by geography, not at birth.

Anyone can attempt to utilize a SS number that has a name that is provided to match.

What happens when there is no public utility - no voting access?

Who knows? I would guess some states still allow you to cast a provisional ballot. The same way they can doublethink themselves into believing that requiring a Photo ID to register to vote is not a poll tax whereas having to show it on election day is. Ditto for why the cost of an ID would be a poll tax but cost of having utility service whose bill you can show as identication is not. And I guess if the electricity bill is in your parents' or husband's name and not yours (or you're just outright homeless or not connected to the grid), then you're completely SOL.

So, uhh, because some some people are disenfranchised, it's a good excuse to disenfranchise more people, right?
