I love this thread. A nutso democratic = both parties do it. A nusto republican = the entire party.

Dems aren't backing this nutso, unlike the way Repubs circle the wagons to protect their own nutsos. Numerous examples can be cited, but you're willfully blind to them all.

So you admit that the Democratic party has a history of condemning the behavior of the KKK? Because that's what he was doing. He was equating the actions of Republicans with that of the KKK. Was this appropriate, no of course not.
FDR looked the other way. You really don't know much about the history of the Democratic Party.

The Republicans were too busy waiting in line for a hood, until someone pointed they should step out and follow suit.

It's so easy to find out what the biggest douchebags on the Left are thinking, the words simply spill right out of your diseased mouth. :\

You mean electing a KKK member the Senate leader for decades is condemnation?

Can you get me a list of the members that switched parties?

Can you possibly be more deliberately obtuse?

What was "the Solid South" for Dems prior to civil rights legislation of the 60's is now "the Solid South" for Repubs because they actively pandered to Southern Whites' fear, resentment & prejudice, still do. Repubs quit being the Party of Lincoln probably before you were born.

Belief to the contrary flies in the face of history & common sense.

That sure doesn't look like a list of the Klan Democrats that switched to the Republican party 40 years ago. Maybe they couldn't keep records back then.

LOL! That's right, it has been a while since the usual leftists dimbulbs attempted to re-write history where they once again try to pawn the racist history of the Dim party off on Republicans. How predictable.

This coming from the person who couldn't even make his own thread about man caught with child porn actually about the topic and instead did everything he can to equate the actions of one man with the entire party. You can't possibly miss the hypocrisy of this post.
And if a mongol politician started handing out bubonic plague it would be fair to say they were returning to their cultural roots.

Actually I didn't notice anyone trying to destroy the voting rights of minorities. I have however noticed Dems finding racism everywhere. Maybe the reason they think everything other people do is motivated by racism is because they secretly incredibly racist themselves and so cannot understand any other potential motivation?
Actually as far as the Mongol analogy goes, this would be equivalent of a Mongol protesting against another country using germ warfare by handing out pictures of disease ridden bodies at a event for that nation. And of course you're going to claim you don't see the right's attempts at destroying voting rights, you support those monstrous actions because you're a bad person.

I actually know quite a bit and the recent history of the parties (last 40-50 years) has the Republicans being EXTREMELY racist while the Democrats not being wholly without racists, being significantly less racist.

Maybe you missed history class the day they discussed the civil rights vote.
