Damn straight. The future of our country is at stake. Fuck those that actively work against it. Ie democrats, poor people and unions.

The tax paying American is wide awake now, fuck everybody else.

You are a tool. Gerrymandering is wrong everywhere. It's wrong when Republicans do it and it's wrong when Democrats do it.

What happened to "We the People"?

I forgot, it's always been "We the People Who Think Exactly As I Do" and Fuck everybody else...

Democracy has failed, it's time for the people who know how to run a country to run it, and everyone else can either come along for the ride, GTFO or die.

GOP took the first 3 races.

Dems took 1 and are leading in the other two (barely in one of them).
Game over... almost...

GOP just has to win one more tonight or one of two next week...

Never mind...

Next week is going to be ugly. GOP needs to win just one and the Democrats need to hold both. Expect an all out war.

Not the proper way to run a country... or state.

Unions have spent $30 million on these races??

When they say "Buy American" they must have meant senate seats...

I'm going to laugh pretty fucking hard when GOP still controls the senate. After all the hooplah, after all the millions of union dollars channeled into the state, after all the protests, after all the shuttling in union goons...

Setting the stage for a nice failure. lulz

The ends justify the means, right?

I'll quote Camus-

The welfare of the people in particular has always been the alibi of tyrants, and it provides the further advantage of giving the servants of tyranny a good conscience

And one that applies even better, from Bertrand Russell-

Advocates of capitalism are very apt to appeal to the sacred principles of liberty, which are embodied in one maxim: The fortunate must not be restrained in the exercise of tyranny over the unfortunate

Not that anything like principle applies to the minds of zealots like Spidey...

Not really, just going to keep Wisconsin Dems on the boil for 2012, when we really need them to come out and vote 🙂

Don't worry. These GOP incumbents and Dem freshmen will face recall elections this winter.

It's the next logical progression in U.S. politics. Never-ending campaigning has now turned into never-ending elections!

GOP 3
Dem 2

Dem leading 52 to 48% with 67% reporting in last.
Yea...

Local paper did say:
.: Vote calls slow down as Darling-Pasch and Hopper-King races remain too close to call. But only one of 11 wards in Waukesha County, expected to go heavily for Darling, have been reported so far.

If that is true then Darling may pull it out. Darling was one of the ones expect to have a chance at winning (at least a 50/50). The two that lost were expected too lose.

So things are going exactly as 'they' expected.

Not quite. While Drling should take Waukesha which has 10 polls to report Milwaukee is leaning heavily democrat with 12 polls to report and a substantially higher population. Both are split about 65-35 right now. It looks quite doubtful for Darling at this point.

So the GOP "expected" to be on the verge of losing the majority in the state senate? That's quite the strategy.
