Wirless USB mouse and keyboard stop workin g when Windows starts.

The mouse and keyboard both work fine when in the BIOS and before Windows starts loading the lights on the wireless dongle are on.

Info: I just installed a new mobo, but it's not it's usb ports.

Could it be happening since I installed a new different mobo but am using the same OS hard drive?

Any help is appreciated.

Yes. Windows loads USB drivers for your old motherboard, they don't work.

Try Advanced Search "repair windows" or "motherboard swap" for old threads on this, you might not need to do a full reinstall of Windows

Could I at least use a normal mouse and keyboard on them to get my files off?
