"Wiring Fault" light on UPS keeps flashing on and off

This is the second time in a few months I've noticed this. It seems to flash on and off with the "on battery" light. It's pretty sporatic.
Last time this happend, it did this for a few hours, and then the power went out a bit later.

So- Is this a problem with my wiring? A problem with the power? (Goes out quite a bit here) Or is there something wrong with the power supply?
Since I have my AC on for the first time today, I tend to think others do too, so it has to be a power issue.

It usually indicates a faulty ground in your house wiring. It can cause problems, but I would expect the ups to absorb most of it.

I dealt with that at a old house last month. I bought a $6 power analyzer at Home Depot and it told me exactly what was wrong. I called an electrcian and when I asked him what he used, he brought out the exact same tool I bought. 🙂

Anyway, might be worth it to check. That way you can tell the condo people exactly what is wrong.
