all i need is a wiring diagram. you can assume that the input power is clean.
i need 15 or more amps on each line.

Buy this: TI's PTH12020WAH (12V in, adjustable 5.5V to 1.8V out, 18 Amp) or PTH12030WAH (12V in, adjustable 5.5 to 1.8V out, 26 Amp). To see the variety of these power supplies, check out this link http://focus-webapps.ti.com/general...onid=JAKS2ISH1Z5NRQC1JAVSM4Q?partNumber=PTH12

These are you best bets for quick-n-efficient power. I use them on my own telecom boards.

If you are feeling a bit more ambitious, or you want to save a few dollars, you can start with a switching regulator, e.g. TI's TPS40055, and buy the parts necessary around it (inductor, caps, and diode). You will have to pay more careful attention to layout however. Plus you should do this on a PCB, not just with wire and solder.

Other companies who make these types of parts are Linear Technology, Artesyn, PowerOne.

If you have any q's just send them my way!
