Alright...I know there is some smart person out there who can help me with this...
I'm working on a laptop that I just reformatted and installed a fresh copy of XP. I did all the updates too. When the computer boots up, it has no problem getting online wirelessly. However, after a while (always when it is not being used, so I'm not sure how long it takes) the wireless will disconnect. If I go to "View Wireless Networks" it tells me that the Wireless Zero utility is not running. Sure enough, if i go check out the Services, the Wireless Zero Service shows current status as "disabled" (startup is set to "automatic"). If I then enable Wireless Zero Services, I can go back and get a list of access points and it appears to connect. However, I still cannot get online.
The only way that I have found to get it to work again is to reboot the computer... then it works for a while... and quits.
We are using the internal NIC and this is an HP laptop.
Any ideas? Thanks!
