OP got it for $33, here in Fl where there is no tax I got it for $30.

The default is 3 to 5 days shipping for 6 bucks. You have to pick "budget shipping" for it to be 30 shipped. (7 to 9 days). To hell with that.. I'll pay the bucks to get it quicker..still cheaper than retail.

No, the play and charge cable is only for power, it still transmits wirelessly.

i feel stupid saying this, i do not know how to sync up the wireless controller at all, so what i do is i simply plug in the play and charge cable and it would sync up wirelessly automatically. (i was trying to switch controller from my friend's 360 back to mine when i was trying to mod his, anyway)

so if it can sync via play and charge, doesn't that mean some signal is going through that usb cable?
