Wireless Woes

A buddy of mine came to me with this problem. His laptop has a Linksys Instant Wireless Network Card v3.0, and He can connect to his Base Station, but he cant get the internet from the base station. Upon further investigation (and after trying to repair the connection) I discover that TCP/IP is not enabled for his Wireless Connection, Therefore it has no IP address, DNS, Subnet mask etc. Now how do I enable this? Its a Sony Viao PCG-XG500 Laptop. Thanks guys!

control panel ->network connections->properties on wireless adapter. (check or add tcp/ip protocol) VOILA!
