Wireless vs Cable

So i did a speed test with wireless and the direct ethernet connection. Its been bothering me which one is faster. With the ethernet cable i have 1289 kbps down and 748 kbps up. With wireless i got 1361 kbps down and 541 kbps up. Is this just random or is wireless faster?
 
Wireless is typically slower and less reliable then ethernet. It is only half-duplex and it suffers from all sorts of environmental interference. Your results are normal. \
