Few weeks ago some people (including myself) were looking for Wireless USB solution.

D-Link Wirless USB seems to be back in stock at major retailers.

Wireless USB is an excellent solution for a Desktop. It is cheaper then Wireless PCI card, and it adds flexibility to the antenna positioning.

If you a Laptop that gives you PCMCIA aggravation (like mine), USB is a viable solution.

The lowest price that I found $123 + Free Shipping.

Mod. this is not a Hot Deal, and I don't think that that Hot Deal crowd will care about this item.
 
I'm not sure what speed the D-Link is, but the Proxim Symphony 1.6Mb USB card is $85 at pcstop. I have 3 in a peer arrangement and they work great here around the house.
