Wireless USB network card freezes computer

I have a dell computer (small business) that takes a usb keyboard and mouse. Everything always worked fine until I plug in my Hawking HWU54d wireless network card and my computer freezes, sometimes almost instantly, sometimes after a few minutes. When I use my other computer (which has a terrible video card problem) which uses a standard keyboard/mouse everything works fine. This computer is also a dell. What can I do on my good computer to keep the thing from freezing?

Thanks in advance for any help.

No one..... I am still struggling with the video card on my old computer, I would really like to have my new computer operational with the internet again!!

You did not say what your Hawking plugs into. USB or PCI slot internally? If it is USB, then probably with the USB keyboard and mouse your are overdrawing your USB power capability.

You can probably solve the problem by changing to a PS2 keyboard and mouse. Or, providing the wireless card with separate power.
