I have the WPC11 PCI wireless adapter card and it just keeps dropping signal all the time despite my laptop's ability to maintain a connection with a PCMCI card. So I was thinking about getting the WUSB11 or WUSB12 USB network adapter. Is there a performance difference between the two I should be aware of or do they work alright? I am talkibg about the Linksys model numbers. I am using the (b) standard to connect - not the (g). I am running XP. I keep changing the settings to maintain a connection on the PCI card and updating driver, etc. - I just think I have a bad card of my PCI slots are messed up because when I put the card in another slot my video signal cuts, just does weird things in all the other PCI slots so that is why I think I need to try the USB route. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.

The WUSB11 is the old Style Module that connects to the computer via USB Cable.

The WSUB12 is the newest Pen Drive like Module that plugs directly to the USB Port (probably geared toward Laptop).

You want to put the Unit above the Desktop, and not stuck behind it.

It seems that the WUSB11 is for you. :light:
