Wireless USB Adaptor

Okay, here's the problem. I just bought Linksys' Wireless USB Adaptor. I'm having trouble getting it to work because I'm running Windows XP on it. I downloaded the new drivers but can't get it to work. Anyone has resolved this problem yet? After installing the new driver, I'm suppose to go to the advance options and set it to "infrastructure" (or something like that), except that option doesn't come out. I've unistalled and reinstalled the drivers about 13 times. Earlier I was told that I would have to do it a few times to get it working, but I think 13 times was enough for one day.

Off the subject, some people that work at linksys tech support are RUDE! I stayed on the phone for two hours to get some help, and after doing some simple tasks he didn't know what to do. Therefore I asked him to transfer me to somebody else, but he said "nobody knows how to do it, you just have to wait." The only problem is that this wasn't true because I talked to somebody else who seemed like he knew what he was talking about a few hours earlier. Bah! Get some people that know what they are doing there Linksys.

Install the software on the CD first prior to installation of the adapter. It is there you can set it to "infrastructure". Then install XP drivers, then install adapter.
