wireless up and running with dlink, but can't access hotmail *fixed*

i set up a wireless network, DSL modem connected to a dlink 713p wireless access point

i'm able to surf all sites except hotmail...after logging in it just hangs until i receive a page not found error, so i tried yahoo, successful...
so i was thinking maybe it's SSL related, but i was able to successfully log into my bank account...
the only time i'm able to successfully log into hotmail is when i directly connect my comp to the DSL modem..
the wireless router has no security enabled, i even reset it to all defaults and still no success...

anyone have any ideas or ran into this or a similar problem with their wireless network?

fixed...apparently the dsl modem my friend had set up was also acting as a wireless router and NATing, he's none technical and was just following the "user friendly" instructions of click this, install that, type this, etc...so when i put my dlink in, it was double NATing and causing the problem...using netstumbler i noticed that the modem was also giving off a signal and further investigation showed that it was NATing...so i just took my dlink out of the picture, got the password and WEP key and am now up and running
