Wireless TV Tuner

I've always wanted to watch TV on my laptop wirelessly and I was wondering if there even is such a market out there for such a thing. I have an ATI TV Wonder USB 2.0 for my laptop to watch TV with but I was wondering how i could watch tv around the house with my laptop.

I was thinking of something like, something similar to a Wireless-G PCI adapter (not exactly that band as there would be interference) attaches to the coaxial in a room and can transfer the signal wirelessly to a receiver/decoder. (ie. PC Card with an antennae)

Or...if the decoder is actually connected to the coaxial input at the base station and any computers within the vicinity can catch the signal and watch tv provided they have a wireless card.

Im not even sure if there is such a thing. would be cool tho.

btw. first post!

I know they have these types of setup for wireless connectivity from your home theater PC to your TV in another room. If you're wanting to do it with your laptop, you would have to probably capture the program first on a home PC (perhaps you can use your ATI TV Wonder for that on a regular PC in your house), then access it over your wireless network, and watch on your laptop (in a format like divx or windows media player). Welcome to the forums.

Also, I think there are some websites out there that are sending out live TV broadcasts over the web, so perhaps that is another way to go.
