I am looking for a low cost way to send a signal from a device, oh say about 2" x 2" to another device about 2" by 2", about 25 feet across a room. It just has to be a simple on/off type of signal. I also need some tips on these little devices (preferably that vibrate silently when signal is recieved), where to buy, cost, etc.

LMK

Thanks in advance,

David

Such devices are used in Psychological Experiments.

Do a search for vendors that sell equipment for Psychology Labs.

anything with "Psychology" in the name would be way to expensive. This isn't high tech stuff i'm looking for, just a simple on/off radio signal

thanks

crazychicken:

Request a new catalog from Marlin P. Jones & Associates at 561-848-8236 or fax your catalog request to 1-800-432-9937. Or check their site at http://www.mpja.com.

They offer many infrared and radio control devices and I think they may have what you want. Believe they also carry the vibrating transponders and will sell directly to consumers with minimum order of $15.00

This post is already 2 weeks old, and still no answer!

May be you should find away to explain better what you need.

Radio Shack sell IR receiver that can be actuates by IR Remote.

This looks good:

Any of the above will need some work and imagination to be used the way you described your need.
